GFRP Rebar
Ribbed fiberglass reinforcing bars for concrete and infrastructure projects.
Product Overview
GFRP rebar is manufactured from continuous glass fibers in a polymer resin matrix. Its non-metallic composition can offer advantages in corrosion-sensitive and electromagnetic-sensitive environments. AOWO's historical product materials describe ribbed reinforcement for concrete applications. Diameter, resin system, mechanical grade and project compliance must be reviewed individually; GFRP is not a direct structural substitute for steel in every design.
Typical Applications
- Concrete and infrastructure reinforcement
- Marine, coastal and other corrosion-sensitive environments
- Projects requiring non-magnetic reinforcement
